Jeep Patriot Gets New Diesel Engine

To increase the appeal of Jeep Patriot for the British customers, Chrysler let go of the old 2.0 liter Volkswagen diesel engine, and replaced it with a new 2.2 Common-Rail Diesel (CRD) unit from Mercedes Benz. This powertrain develops 163bhp, averages 42.8 mpg (combined),  does 0 to 60 mph in 10.7
