Tata Megapixel hybrid concept

Tata motors to present Tata Megapixel Concept in the event the Geneva Motor Show 2012. Tata Megapixel Concept offers a concept hybrid car with a futuristic design. Tata Megapixel Concept has four independent electric motors, one at each wheel. Each wheel is mounted lithium-ion phosphate battery 13 kWh. For battery charging, concept car from Tata is using the induction system. Tata Megapixel Concept up to 86 kph using a full speed electric motor. Tata Megapixel Concept also has a 325cc 30 hp gasoline engine, the gasoline engine can extend the range up to 900 km. The maximum speed can reach 110 kph. As a result, the Megapixel produces just 22g/km of CO2 emission and a fuel economy of 100km/liter (under battery power only). Under battery power onyl Megpixel can travel the 87km (54 mi). The design is unique to the B pillar shed with sliding doors to front and rear. Able to accommodate four passengers. Uniquely smartphone can mounted in the cabin and integrated with a touch screen to make it work.
