Preview: 2011 Dodge Durango
Dodge finally took the wrap off the all-new Durango SUV and revealed a car with upgraded design, quality and practicality.
The new Dodge Durango is a big SUV with three rows of seats and capability to carry seven people, with a new cabin which they say is heavily improved over the last models and is now made of such high quality materials you don’t wanna ever get off it!
The new-look Durango is still recognizable for fans, with that massive grille and wheels and the whole profile of the thing that’s different than anything else on the road. And it’s still a bit too flash and shiny!
You can have the new Durango with two engine including a a fuel-efficient 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 or a a powerful 5.7-liter HEMI engine with fuel-saving, Multi-displacement system (MDS) four-cylinder mode. Of course both model feature All-Wheel-Drive system as standard.
As for the equipments, you get standard front seat-mounted side air bags and standard side-curtain air bags that cover passengers in all three rows, as well as all-new standard active head restraints. Electronic Stability Control also is standard. Other available safety and security technologies include Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Keyless Enter-n’ Go.
