Italian tuner Pierobon has mainly dedicated its 58-year activity developing frames and components for various racing competitions, including MotoGP, so far, but they have moved to another level, with the creation of the F042 custom bike. The machine was built around Ducati’s two cylinder engine, but strictly air-cooled and with only two valves per cylinder. The kit includes an aluminum frame in combination with a network of pipes above the L-shaped twin-function carrier, united in the new rear swingarm. Beyond the tube frame, swingarm rear, comes with two mounts, one for the support of the new dome, the other for the tail, the fuel tank, pump kit, drain inserted under the tail, the platforms, and finally under the drip pan. The Pierobon F042 HStreet tips the scales at 140 kg. That, along with the 1390 mm wheelbase and the steering angle of 23.5 °, make the F042 a great bike, fun, particularly if used on track or on mountain trails. The complete bike will settle you in for some EUR19,000 (US$25,260), but Pierobon also offers an option of buying separate kit for EUR7,922 (US$10,500). The engine, airbox, exhaust system, electrical system as well as the braking system must comply this rule to begin the process of approval. advertisement
