Opel Astra Sports Tourer Revealed

With every new generation of Astra, Opel will also introduce different variants of the car such as the estate, coupe cabrio, OPC and so on.

Here’s the estate, or as Opel calls it, the Sport Tourer version of the 2011 Astra, which thanks to the design of the new gen Astra is one of the best looking wagons on the market.

The car has sporty credentials not only in terms of design and powertrains, but also handlingwise. It features the latest edition of the company’s FlexRide adaptive suspension system, which is fully adjustable and lets you choose between sport or comfort driving modes.

The Astra Sports Tourer also has a decent choice of engines including eight petrol and diesel units with power ranging from 70 kW/95 hp to 132 kW/180 hp. They can be had with six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

But the whole point of a station wagon is its luggage space. And we are glad to report that the Astra won’t disappoint you! Thanks to its 60/40 split-fold rear seatbacks, it offers up to 1,550 liters cargo space, while there’s also 25 liters of various storage spaces inside the cabin as well.
