Nissan is said to wow the crowd at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show by revealing a couple of new and very innovative cars.

The first is the convertible version of the Murano crossover, which is interestingly named the Murano CrossCabriolet. It will go on sale next year as a 2012 model and will be the first drop-top SUV in the world.

Nissan says they have put a great effort into this car, to make sure that as a world first it sets new standards in driving fun without compromise on great qualities of the Murano. We still have no idea how it will look like, but as Nissan promises it’s going to be awesome!

Along with that, they will also reveal a new sedan called the Ellure, which they say is designed to bring a higher level of progressive and distinctive expression to the segment – adding passion and emotion to traditional sedan efficiency. Can’t wait to see that.

Other premieres at L.A. Autoshow for Nissan will be the LEAF electric vehicle and the new version of Quest minivan for 2011.
