Mazda Takuya Models Offer Better Value
The Japanese manufacturer is offering special editions of Mazda2, Mazda3 and Mazda6 ranges in UK called Takuya.
As it’s the case with these special edition models, they are loaded with features and offer greater value for money that normal models. In essence the Takuya models come with sports styling kit, enhanced interior specification, unique colours and ‘special edition’ exclusivity.
Pricing for these models start from £11,940 for Mazda2, £16,695 the Mazda3, and £20,495 for the Mazda6.
All Mazda Takuya models are also available with VAT fixed at the 2010 rate – this offer applies to the retail list price and excludes all factory fitted and dealer fitted options.
Detailed specs and pricing of each Takuya special edition Mazda are listed in the press release below:
Following on from the success of the ‘Takuya Special Edition Range’ introduced in mid-2010 for a limited period, Mazda is launching five 2011 ‘Takuya’ models across the Mazda2, Mazda3 and Mazda6 line-ups with a total production volume of 3894 units.
The generously equipped Takuya models incorporate features normally only available with top-of-the-range derivatives. Also displaying extra visual appeal with attractive pricing, the Takuya quintet will be on sale from 1 February 2011 offering Mazda customers great added value.
“The 2011 Mazda Takuya range offers buyers genuine exclusivity, evocative sports styling and enhanced equipment, while representing fantastic value for money,” comments Mark Cameron, Sales Director, Mazda UK. “Previous special edition Mazda models have proved hugely popular, selling fast and boasting impressive residual values. The Takuya range offers yet another reason for value-seeking consumers that want something different from the mainstream to head down to their local Mazda dealership this winter,”
Cameron added: “Also in support of the Mazda2’s high value guise, is the recent announcement that it came sixth in the Parker’s Cost of Motoring report^. It is a great result and testament to the Mazda2′s competitive price and great value. The Mazda2 lost just £2,022 and 23 percent of its original value according to Parker’s deprecation statistics.”
Mazda2 Takuya – compact and sporty
Priced from £11,940 (OTR), the Mazda2 1.3-litre five-door Takuya is the entry point into the 2011 special edition range. Inside, there is automatic dual-zone climate control air conditioning, black sports interior trim, heated front sports seats, an integrated Bluetooth® system, a six-disc CD changer and leather covered steering wheel and gear knob.
Priced from just £16,695 the Mazda3 Takuya represents excellent value for money and promises low running costs with a combined fuel economy figure of 43.5mpg and low-for-class 149g/km of CO2 emissions.
