In spite of the horribly painful earthquake, tsunami and then several nuclear explosions in their homeland Japan which have pretty much disabled the car industry in that country, Mazda is still doing strong. In March 2011 they’ve enjoyed an increase of 33.3 percent in sales compared to March 2010. That means in the first three month of 2011, Mazda sales have gone up 15.4 percent, with 64,559 vehicles sold. A large part of this success is duo to the everlasting  popularity of the Mazda3. They’ve sold nearly 12.5K units of this vehicle just this March which shows a near as makes no difference 10 percent increase. We can mention interesting design, great level of equipments, decent quality, affordability and above all amazing driving experience as reasons why the 3 has such a vast customer base. It is offered around the globe in both hatchback and sedan variants. Mazda’s sporty crossover and SUV, CX-7 and CX-9 also have a good performance in the American market and managed to secure a large part of the extremely popular crossover market.
