Like every other major manufacturer, Infiniti too has started its very own in-house performance division to turn their ordinary models into high performance ones because there’s good demand for such cars.

So they came up with the “Infiniti Performance Line” and it debuts with this car, the IPL G Coupe.

Its is based on the G37 Coupe. The design department has done a good job for this car and created a unique bodykit which turns the innocent looking G37 into a beast! It comes with front and rear bumper/fascia design with integrated fog lights and black finishers, sculpted side sills, rear spoiler and chrome exhaust tips.

You also get awesome 19-inch IPL split 7-spoke graphite-finish wheels and two unique colors for the exterior, Graphite Shadow and Malbec Black.

The engineering department however has not been just as active. They took the same 3.7 liter V6 engine of the original car and managed to extract only 18 more hp and 6 more torque form it! So the car has 348 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque, which is good but not as good as German cars of this segment.

Other mechanical upgrades of the G coupe include a sport-tuned steering gear and large 4-wheel sport brakes with aluminum-alloy opposed calipers (4-piston front/2-piston rear) and Viscous Limited-Slip Differential.

The car is also very well equipped and comes as standard with Infiniti Studio on Wheels by Bose® premium audio system, Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System, 9.3GB Music Box® Hard Drive, Infiniti Voice Recognition for audio navigation, memory system for driver’s seat, steering wheel and outside mirrors, RearView Monitor, Rear Sonar and moonroof. You also have to choices of color for the interior.
