VW Golf GTI by Adidas

Wörthersee Tour tuning show in Austria is an important event for German automakers, and they always bring along a couple of very hot products.

This year VW group is going to steal the show, as Audi will show seven specially prepared A1, and Golf will come with two special GTIs.

The first one is the Adidas Edition which is a limited edition featuring a customized interior and exterior. They include newly designed 18-inch “Serron” alloy wheels and a specially developed sport seat design. As on the Golf R, bi-xenon headlights and LED rear lights are aboard as standard equipment.

The other car which is a concept is the GTI Excessive. Basically it’s a GTI but with new body panels. It comes with add-ons around the front spoiler, side sills and rear diffuser. This diffuser actually lights up in red every time you brake! It also gets a racing-inspired splitter.

VW says if the fans like all these stuff, they will put the in the GTI’s accessories catalogue. Apart from the visual features, the engine in both cars remains the same as the one in the standard Golf VI GTI.
