Volkswagen Golf VII Electric will be available in 2013

Volkswagen (VW) announced that the Volkswagen Golf VII Electric will be launched in 2013. The plan, an electric version of the Golf is named Volkswagen E-Golf.
Volkswagen Golf VII Electric will be using the MQB platform that will support these vehicles to the development of more advanced. The platform also used on the Audi A3 car which was formally presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show 2012 event then.
By using the MQB platform Volkswagen Golf VII Electric allows to use both a traditional engine and electric engine. For resources, the Volkswagen Golf VII Electric uses a lithium-ion batteries are placed in the back seat.
Volkswagen Golf VII Electric can shoot up to 115 hp and 270 Nm of torque and can accelerate from o to 100 km / h in 11.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 135 hp.
Volkswagen plans to bring the version of the plug-in-hybrid vehicle for this. For plug-in version-new hybrid will be realized by 2015.
