Peugeot said to have introduced the latest edition of the sporty hatchback cars for their flagship 207, in the UK.

The French car manufacturer said it expects the special edition cars were made with the aim to increase sales and improve the image of 207.

New car was dubbed the 207 Sportium, which is a special edition vehicle and comes in two engine options. Namely powerplant with a capacity for 1400 cc petrol VTi technology, which can generates power at 95 hp.

There was also a 1600 cc engine capacity HDi, diesel fuel is capable of generating power by 92 hp.

Both engines are said to have met Euro five emissions standards. With details, gasoline engine produces 137 grams of CO2 per km, while the diesel engine emits 113 g CO2 per km.

Peugeot 207 special edition also has a fresh look than the standard version, with a few additional items.

For matters of convenience, the car is already equipped with power steering, six airbags, remote control central locking with deadlocks, electric front windows with one touch to the driver, and steering that can be adjusted as desired driver.

The car is also equipped with a radio / CD player, ABS, EBFD, EBA, trip computer, electric heated mirrors, front fog lights, front grille with chrome affect, as well as behind the front bumper with matching body color.

To be more attractive, Peugeot added features USB connectivity with Bluetooth, 15-inch alloy rims on petrol models and 16-inch on the model HDi, rear parking sensors, a more sporty interior and a dark rear window.

“USB & Bluetooth connection from Peugeot, allows portable MP3 player or iPod can be connected with the vehicle head unit and Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones, which allows phone calls made and received by the driver only by using the controls on the steering column,” writes the press release quoted by Peugeot from autoevolution, Friday (10/29/2010).
