Mercedes SLS AMG Designo Night Black

Australia has been given a special gift by Mercedes Benz, in form of the first Designo SLS AMG, with a unique magno Night Black color.

Revealed at the 2010 AIMS, this car also features special red garnish on the outside to match the black/red theme of the interior. The rims are also painted in matte black.

Mercedes has not released details of the engine and drivetrain, so one can be sure that they are the same as standard, which means you get a 6.2 liter normally aspirated V8 developing 571bhp, which does 0 to 60 in about 3.5 seconds and can reach 200+ mph.

“Australia is one of our favourite markets,” said Mario Spitzner, Director Branding, Marketing & Sales Mercedes-AMG. “We were asked to create two unique AMG vehicles for the Australian International Motor Show.”
