Li Nian S1, Special Honda New Model for China

This is the greatness of China’s auto industry. Manufacturer of Honda cars must use the original product name and country. Evidence, Honda have introduced a new model that will be marketed in China under the name “Li Nian S1“. This compact sedan introduced at The 8th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition which opened today and lasts until December 27, 2010. Honda Motor Co. explains, S1 Li Nian concept originally started from China. Hence, this sedan manufactured and marketed by Honda Guangqi, China. Nevertheless, this car is still made with the platform of one small model Honda. Because of that, the machines used 1.3 liter capacity and 1.5 liters. From appearances, the model closest to the form of Honda Li Nian City S1 is a long production (before 2008). This can be seen on the trunk lamp design and model taillights. Only, the front face is designed with the performance of Honda sedans now. Li Nian S1 target market is the Chinese young generation or those who are new first time buying a new car. For Honda, Li Nian is expected to expand its model range in China. Thus, a car that is expected to enter showrooms in spring next year it will boost Honda’s sales in China in the future to be 730,000 units. The number of targets are up 12 percent compared to this year, an estimated 630,000 units.
