Earthquake lunge Sendai, Toyota Factory Cease Operations

Earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter Scale (SR) which hit the region Sendai, Japan, the East, had damaged a car manufacturer Toyota Motor Corporation in Miyagi. In addition, three Toyota parts supplier companies also experienced the same thing.
“Toyota factory in Miyagi, Suffered some damage. Similarly, a road nears the factory was also cracked. All activities at the plant stopped starting today, “said Misako Nagata, Toyota spokesman was quoted as automotiveworld.com and automotivenews.com, Friday (3/11 ).
Toyota factory in Miyagi prefecture has a plant capacity 120 thousand units per year. The plant produces some Toyota models like the Toyota Yaris hatchback variant.
The company’s part supplier to Toyota which is reportedly suffered damage, Boshoku Corporation and Denso Corporation. Some people reportedly were injured.
Beside Toyota, other manufacturers who stopped operating its factories due to the disaster that is Nissan and Honda. Until now there has been no official information how many losses suffered by these manufacturers.
