Express 1500 have a horsepower of 310 with a 5.3-liter V8 engine. It contains an automatic transmission of four- speed and a rear wheel drive. Express also offers an all wheel drive to consumers. The haul capacity of the 1500 engine is up to 6,200 lbs. Fuel mileage runs a mpg of 13 in the city and 17 in highway drive. A combination of highway and city drive totals a mpg of 14. Express 2500 and 2500 is only available in rear wheel drive. It has a horsepower of 323 with a 6-liter eight cylinder engine. Automatic transmission of six- speed is typical in the 2500 and 3500 models. Hauling capacity can reach for up to 9,900 lbs.
Safety equipment of the Express is similar to all production cars which compromise of the antilock brake system, stability control, and side-curtain airbags present in the three seating rows. It achieved a five-star rating in the crash note of frontal impacts.
