Bullet-Proof Jaguar XJ Sentinel

Jaguar chose Moscow Motor Show to reveal their bullet-proof  version of the new XJ. Now that seems like the proper city for this purpose!

It’s called the Jaguar XJ Sentinel and it’s based on the long wheelbase XJ equipped with all the luxury goods you get from the standard car. And it looks almost the same as the standard car, so no one would notice you are a VIP of some kind. And yet it protects you against ballistic attacks.

The details of it are of course classified, but Jaguar wants you to be sure of its quality so they offer a full three-year 50,000 mile factory warranty, along with comprehensive after-sales support.

Good at protecting your life this car might be, but it’s not anywhere near as good as the standard! You see it gets the same 380 hp V8 engine but it has to carry extra weight. So much weight in fact that the 0 to 100 km/h takes almost 10 seconds, and it has a top speed of only 199 km/h.

Other features of the car include up-rated suspension with active dampers front and rear, Jaguar High Performance Braking System, Strengthened 19? Aleutian Alloy Wheels with 245/45 19? Dunlop Self Supporting Technology, and Run on Flat tyres (RoF).
