Audi TT GT4
Although it looks like it, but it’s not Audi’s new DTM contender.
This is the Audi TT GT4 Concept, a race machine they’ve developed based on the production TT for new modular customer sport program from 2012 onwards.
This GT4 racer is an affordable solution for hose looking for a proper tool to attend local GT series. At 120,000 the car’s way cheaper that most of current offerings. And it will be marketed in both Europe and Asia.
The car shares front apron, rear apron and the rear wing stem with the production Audi TT RS. The hood, doors and trunk lid are made of CFRP and the windows of plastic. The vehicle’s platform is a motorsport body with a roll-over cage, a safety-optimized fuel tank box and further modifications which will be identical for all future customer sport versions.
As for the power, there too it gets the TFSI engine of the TT RS delivering about 250 kW (340 hp), plus a S-tronic transmission with a differential lock, a modified production suspension with adjustable dampers, plus 9.5 x 18 inch light alloy wheels.
