The new variant of the Audi Spyder with the V8 engine has been announced as a sort of cheaper alternative for those who don’t really need all that V10 power in their life.

Now Audi announces the official pricing of the the R8 Spyder V8 for the British market, and considering the gap, you better spend a bit mroe and get the V10, and enjoy its awesomeness!

After all, the V10 has 525 hp, but the V8 variant is the same 4.2 liter TFSI as in the old RS4 which has 420 hp and 430 nm of torque. It’s not slow or anything, but the V10 is one of the best supercars in the market today, And if you can pay 100 grand for the V8, you can pay another 20 for the full fat version!

Anyhow, Pricing starts from £95,545 for the one with manual gearbox and £100,855 for the one with the great R-Tronic transmission. As it’s the case with the R8, by the time you are done speccing the car up with the options, it’ll cost way more than that!
