2012 Mercedes CLS63 AMG Price

The all-new Mercedes CLS63 AMG will hit the showrooms from March, but it’s pricing is a bit complicating!

You see the car has a base price of 97,350 euros which is on the par with the old models, but with the new VAT rules in Europe it’ll cost 115,846.50 euros. If you want the optional AMG Performance Pack which adds more speed and sporty appeal, that’ll cost an extra 7735 euros.

The new CLS63 is powered by a brand-new 5.5 liter biturbo V8 developing 525 hp – 575 with the AGM pack – and 700 Nm of torque – 800 Nm with the AMG Pack – which results in astonishing performance, while maintaining the fuel consumption below 10 liter per 100 km.

One of the highlights of the attractive optional extras is the AMG Performance package which is available for the CLS 63 AMG. It comprises:

• an increase in the peak output of 24 kW (32 hp) and in the maximum torque of 100 Nm; genuine carbon fibre AMG engine cover

• genuine carbon fibre AMG spoiler lip on the boot lid

• red-painted brake calipers

• AMG Performance steering wheel with Alcantara® inserts in the grip areas

• Exclusive optional extras are also available from the AMG Performance Studio:

• AMG RIDE CONTROL Performance suspension

• Lightweight, forged AMG light-alloy wheels featuring a 5-twin-spoke design with size 255/35 R 19 tyres at the front and 285/30 R 19 at the rear
