2011 Nissan March
The all-new Nissan March, the replacement for the Micra has been launched in Japan today, before it hits the global market.
The March features new innovative technologies, which help it achieve best-in-class fuel economy and improved safety performance.
The car is also designed with economy in mind. It has a lowering the center of gravity than the Micra and has a sleek roofline, with a raised rear end, optimally adjusts airflow to the rear sides for the sake of aerodynamic. March’s coefficient of drag is just 0.32. They have also used lightweight materials in building the car.
The car also has a “twin bubble” shaped cockpit. It’s a user-friendly cabin with a large speedometer, cup holders, and many cubbyholes. It comes in Black/Ivory, Natural Gray or Chic Black themes.
At launch the car gets a lightweight, compact 1.2L 3-cylinder HR12DE engine. March’s new-generation Xtronic CVT features a new structure combining a belt-operated CVT with an auxiliary two-speed transmission. It also gets Idling Stop System and has fuel economy of 26 Km/L.
