2011 MINI Cooper, Cabrio and Clubman Facelift

MINI has refreshed its range for 2011 and updated all models except the new Countryman, because well it’s too new to get changed!

So the Cooper, Cabriolet and Clubman all receives a revised design with newly shaped bumpers, front grille, new fog lamps, and rear aprons, as well as new colors.

The interior of the cars are also upgraded. In there you’ll find new knobs and dials, new choices for upholstery and trim levels. But it can further customized to meet your desired specs with MINI’s Design World program.

The new models will be available with a new diesel engine as well. Of course it’s new for MINI, but BMW is already using it for their 1-series. It’s a 1.6 liter common-rail diesel which can be tuned for different outputs.

In MINI D it offers 66 kW/90 hp, while for the sportier Cooper D it delivers 82 kW/112 hp. This engine has an average fuel consumption of 74.3 mpg or just 3.8 liters per 100 Km, with CO2 emissions of just 99 g/Km.

The equipments of the 2011 MINI are also upgraded. For example you can now order a top-notch stereo system with integrated navigation, CD, DVD, AUX, USB, and Bluetooth. Sales of the new models will begin from September 2010.
