2011 Audi A4 2.0 TDI

The new diesel edition of Audi A4 is really a no compromise family car with a super efficient engine.

The car’s equipped with a new 2.0 liter diesel that generates 100 kW (136 hp) and 320 Nm (236.02 lb-ft) of torque, which gives it a 0 to 100 km/h time of 9.5 seconds (9.8 Avant).

Granted, that is not very quick, but what you loose on one side you gain at the other. This unit has a combined cycle fuel consumption of just 4.4 liters/100 Km or 53 US MPG. That is astonishing for a big saloon with tons of equipments and space.

Fuel economy numbers for the Avant version are 4.6 liters  or51.13 mpg, with CO2 emissions of 115 grams per km (185.07 g/mile). The sedan has a top speed of 215 km/h and the Avant 208 km/h.

As for the price, the sedan costs €31,600 and the Avant €33,250.
