It’s that time of year again… time for taxes. I’ve been going over mine and realizing how much of my money gets eaten up every year. It got me thinking about how I could start saving a little bit more.

It turns out that it’s actually pretty easy to save over a thousand dollars just by making a couple easy changes. For example, you can combine your homeowners, auto, and life insurance to save over $280. You could also keep your mileage low, have good credit, or be a loyal customer.
