Honda Jazz Hybrid Revealed Further
Honda is taking another big leap in making environmental friendly cars by introducing the new Hybrid Jazz. It is set for debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and will then go on sale in UK and rest of Europe in 2011.
The Jazz Hybrid retains all the great features of the base car that made it so popular. It is very practical, spacious and user friendly and the transformation to a hybrid has not affected these features.
You still get a surprising large boot space of 831 litres thanks to the magical folding seats. The IMA battery pack and power control unit have been integrated in the area under the boot floor, keeping the normal boot (above floor) area of 300 litres.
The powertrain is the same as the CR-Z and Insight, with the 1.3 litre i-VTEC, and despite its taller, more flexibility focused shape, the new car has CO2 emissions of a similar level at 104 g/km.
The Jazz Hybrid will be capable of running on the electric motor alone under some medium and low speed conditions and this contributes to a combined fuel consumption figure of just 4.4 l/100km.
Pricing and availability fro different markets will be announced later.
