Chevrolet Camaro Convertible - New Pictures

Finally, it seems that General Motors is ready to unveil the drop-top version of the new Camaro at the upcoming Los Angeles Motor Show.

It took them so long to cut the roof off the Camaro, but don’t think they used this time turning it into something better or more amazing. Apart from the fabric roof, nothing else seems to be different than the hardtop version.

No complaints though, as the Camaro is a fine muscle car and taking the roof off will indeed make it better. Not for sport driving, but for fun!

The Camaro Convertible will launch in 2011 with a V6 engine, capable of 312 horsepower.

Later on, a V8 model with the same engine as the SS Camaro will be added to the range, but a Z28 version is not likely.

The V6 model will have a base price of around $30,000 which is not bad.
