BMW Build Electric Car Factory

Manufacturers of the world’s largest luxury car, BMW, the more serious work on electric vehicles. They plan to build a new plant (to electric cars) to fund 530 million euros or Rp6, six tirliun in Leipzig, Germany, to absorb additional workforce of 1,000.
The new plant will produce its flagship city car, Megacity Vehicle. Also assemble several other models including the Series-1 and X1 with a capacity for 730 units per day.
“Sales Megacity will be adjusted and the price is less than 60,000 euros per unit,” said BMW’s head of development, Klaus Draeger, as reported by autonews.
Megacity has a cabin with a protective cell-based carbon fibers similar to those used in Formula one racing car. This material weighs 50 percent lighter than steel, making it able to reduce the burden as well as the dimensions of cars and electric energy intake is needed.
This product is a pure electric car, unlike rivals who developed the Smart Daimler in two conventional engines and electric options.
Megacity become BMW’s first electric car threw into the market in 2013. Target 4-passenger car customers are urban residents (urbani), with the concept of compact and practicable.
