BMW 120i Coupe arrives in Australia

One of the fastest expanding model ranges German automaker BMW now offers the Australian market, the 1 Series will have a little help in their search for new sales heights with the introduction later this year of 120i version.

For a price of AU $ 47.400, the 120i will become, when it comes to the country in May, more affordable version of a series on the market. Completes the range currently sold there and that includes 123d, 125i and 135i M Sport Coup in Series 1.

Despite its price, the model comes equipped with all the features that have made the German automaker a major competitor in the premium car segment. With an engine of 154 horsepower with Valvetronic technology, the model promises to bring new and younger buyers to the brand.

The characteristics of the equipment with which BMW plans to attract new customers include light alloy wheels of 17 inches, sports seats with electric backrest, Boston leather, the leather sports steering wheel, cruise control, rear parking sensors, fog lights, ambient lighting package, 60: 40 split rear seats times the storage compartment pack, rain sensor, Bluetooth, USB and a six-speaker stereo system.

The car is packed with all the safety features one expects of a BMW, including the display of braking force.

Before the arrival of the new model in May and March, the German automaker sold a total of 6,100 models from Series 1 in Australia. As soon as the 120i gets there, the German automaker plans to increase that number and the percentage of sales for Series 1.
