Beetle Convertible will not come this year?

2013 Beetle Convertible has officially shown his picture for the first time a few days before his arrival to the 2011 New York International Auto Show. Comes with a sporty look, the body is longer and wider and lower stance. But there was a rumor that Beetle Convertible will appear at this year’s 2012 Auto Show in Detroit in January, and New York is also a possibility. But in fact until the second event took place there and curtain fabric roof that opens to display the Beetle Convertible. According to Car & Driver, Beetle Convertible will miss the 2012 season to sell and had to start selling early next year. Production line to 2013 Beetle Convertible has been in the process of making possible the launch of the debut show and mockups will be much closer. We may see a Detroit debut but Los Angeles is still the possibility for 2012. 2013 Beetle Convertible is expected to use the coupe – 2.5-liter base model, 2.0-liter Turbo and even the diesel, it is still targeting a marketing vehicle at younger customers. Whatever will happen, we just need to be patient for his arrival in the U.S. market. Is this the year?  But certainly not this year, this vehicle will greet us.
