This power is delivered via a 900-amp pulse inverter with silicon-carbide transistors, providing a robust torque peak of 704 lb-ft—enough to keep even spirited drivers grinning.

The Macan GTS Electric employs permanent-magnet motors at both ends, sharing the rear unit with the Turbo model. Each motor spins through a 9:1 direct-drive gearbox, translating output into impressive performance for this 2.5-ton SUV: 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds, a quarter-mile in 12.0 seconds, and a top speed of 155 mph. Track enthusiasts can leverage the Sport Chrono Package with Taycan-inspired Track Endurance Mode, giving extra battery cooling to extend spirited laps without thermal derating.
