How Quick/Fast?!
The Macan GTS Electric employs permanent-magnet motors at both ends, sharing the rear unit with the Turbo model. Each motor spins through a 9:1 direct-drive gearbox, translating output into impressive performance for this 2.5-ton SUV: 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds, a quarter-mile in 12.0 seconds, and a top speed of 155 mph.
