2012 Morgan Eva GT

British manufacturer if exquisite sportscars Morgan revealed their latest creation, which is also the most striking one as well.

It’s called the EvaGT and amazingly it manages to appeal to both fans of traditional Morgan styling and those who have hated that traditional styling for years!

The Eva looks classically modern. It has the same layout of long bonnet, short tail as a Morgan should but the whole composition of the design is so exquisite and amazing that I think it’s safe to say this car is one of the prettiest to be launched next year.

As for the technicalities, Eva features an all-aluminum structure like the Morgan Aero. Those old Morgan wooden chassis are long gone now and you get modern underpinnings as well. They still managed to keep the weight of car fairly low at 2,760 lbs.

They could give it a million horsepower V-70 engine, but to show they are in tune with the time EvaGT is powered by BMW’s powerful and efficient N54 twin-turbo I6 engine which has 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The means 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 second and top speed of 170 mph, with 33.6 mpg fuel economy.

Pricing for Morgan Eva GT will be in the neighborhood of £70,000-£85,000.
