2011 VW Caddy
The latest edition of VW’s refined urban delivery vehicle, the Caddy van, has been revealed featuring a new face, upgraded engines and new on board technologies.
VW vans are not the cheapest nor they are the most practical, but when it comes to reliability and quality hardly any other van on the market can match it.
The 2011 Caddy has a newly designed front-end which has been formed using the current VW design language which is also used for normal cars. That gives the Caddy the looks of a more conventional vehicle.
There is a wide range of engines for this car. At launch you can order it with either a TDI of TSI powertrain with different levels of power. The diesel range comes with 55 kW / 75 PS, 75 kW / 102 PS, 81 kW / 110 PS and 103 kW / 140 PS, and can be had with BlueMotion and 6 or 7-speed DSG transmissions. And the petrol model comes with either 63 kW / 86 PS and 77 kW / 105 PS.
The new VW Caddy has removable second row of seats in all models, which helps it to achieve a cargo capacity of up to 3,030 litres; for the Caddy Maxi the figure is 3,880 litres. Pricing for the new Caddy starts from 13,595 euros for the panel van and 14,205 euros for the Startline.
