Following the launch of the 2011 Touran MPV, VW is now offering the sporty version of the car, the 2011 CrossTouran.

The car is built based on the same recipe that has created the amazing CrossGolf and CrossPolo models. The idea is that you have an MPV with big boot and everything, but it also features some sporty features and cool appearance so you wouldn’t feel depressed driving it!

On the outside, the changes over normal Touran are noticeable. Specially at the back where you get new rear-end design and two-part taillight clusters. It is also 20mm taller (ground clearance) than original car and features 17-inch sport alloys with 215 tyres at the front and 235s at the back.

Other modifications include black grained protective strips on the doors and bumpers and flared wheel arches.

As for the equipments the 2011 CrossTouran comes standard with a roof rack in matt aluminium, decorative trim in stainless steel look, electric windows front and rear, extra comfortable seats in the front with height adjustment and lumbar support, leather steering wheel plus leather trim on gearlever knob and handbrake and a special seat cover pattern.

The same range of TSI and TDI engine as the normal Touran are available for the Cross as well, including the EcoFuel natural gas engine option. The car is priced from €27,700.
