2011 Porsche Cayenne V6 And Cayenne Diesel

The new generation of Porsche Cayenne has not improved much in terms of design, it’s still a bit of an uggo, but as far as performance and efficiency goes, it’s a masterpiece.

Specially when it comes to fuel economy, Porsche is offering new editions of the Cayenne with V6 engines which has the fuel consumption level of a sedan.

They are the Cayenne V6 and the Cayenne Diesel. Specially the diesel model which might be a bit down on power, but given its amazing average fuel consumption, it’s a price worth paying!

The Cayenne V6 comes with a 3.6 liter engine with 300 hp (220 kW). That enables this hefty car to go from 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 7.5 seconds (Tiptronic S: 7.8 seconds) and reach a top speed of 230 km/h or 143 mph. The diesel V6 has only 240 hp (176 kW), which gives it 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 7.8 seconds.

As for the critical subject of fuel consumption, the petrol model does 9.9 ltr/100 km, equal to 28.5 mpg imp, and the diesel 7.4 ltr/100 km, or 38.2 mpg imp. Pricing for these models are 55,431 Euros and 59,596 Euros respectively.
