2011 Peugeot 508 SW
Following the sedan Peugeot also released more details about the estate version of the new car, the 508 SW.
Going on sale in early 2011, Peugeot promises that the new model has the same style, road holding, versatility and robustness that its siblings form the 40x and 50x series offered during the past 50 years or so.
And that’s true because almost all of these cars were amongst the prettiest of their time and had great handling, even though they suffered a bit form the lack of quality! But that shouldn’t be an issue with the 508, be it the product of the 2011 which meets very high standards.
The SW is 4.81 m long and has the same sort of piercing design at front, but it’s naturally different at the back and has a more composite feel, with a red band that lights up when the rear lights are activated.
On the Peugeot 508 SW this in-car satisfaction is enhanced by the large panoramic glass roof. The boot too, is practical and accommodating, with a generous volume of 660 litres of liquid (560 dm3 VDA). Thanks to the clever folding rear seats, the cargo space is expandable to 1,865 litres (1,598 dm3 VDA).
