2011 NAIAS: New Hyundai Veloster and HDC-12

2012 Hyundai Veloster (autoevolution)
At the 2011 NAIAS Hyundai introduced two concept cars that are very interesting, namely Hyundai Veloster, and HCD-12 or Curb. Both cars are directly introduced the concept of the Vice President of Hyundai Motor, Chung Euisun.
Hyundai Veloster is a car with a performance hatchback coupe and functional. Three doors, behind the rear passengers are designed for easy in and out. Hyundai calls it Veloster 2012 and is claimed as a compact coupe in its segment.
Completeness pulled from this car telematic system knew as Blue Link and introduced last week CES, Las Vegas. The system uses Pandora internet radio with 7 inch touch screen.
The engine, according to Hyundai, Gamma 1.6-liter GDI (gasoline direct injection, plus a 6-speed manual transmission, is the first product that uses a double clutch. Consumption is claimed more fuel efficient hybrid Honda CZ-Z, 17 km / liter.
Also on display Hyundai HCD-12 Curb, a compact crossover which is targeted for the generation-Y who lived in the town and like night life. The car was designed at Hyundai’s design studio in California.
As Hyundai Veloster, Hyundai HCD-12 Curb use Gamma 1.6-liter engine, with transmission Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG). The ability to produce power 175 PS engine, equipped with technology Idle Stop Go (ISG). Fuel consumption, on the highway 17 KMN / liter, in the city 12 km / liter.
