2011 Mazda2 Upgrade

Just in time for 2010 Paris Motor Show Mazda released a new version of their smallest production model, Mazda2.

It’s all new of course, more of a slight facelift to keep it fresh in the crowded hatchback segment.

The 2011 Mazda2 comes with new front styling following their new design language, upgraded interior, upgraded Euro V compliant powertrain line-up, upgraded chassis for even better ride comfort. They will also introduce a new automatic transmission version.

Along with Mazda2, the Mazda3 has also received a new upgrade but only in terms of powertrain where its MZ-CD 1.6 diesel features 6ps more maximum power,  and 12 percent higher maximum torque while returning average fuel consumption of 4.4 l/100km and 117g/km CO2. It also get a new lightweight 6-speed manual transmission.
