2011 Lexus IS 200d
Lexus has significantly refreshed its IS range for 2011 and even added a new diesel variant which is even lighter on fuel than the old one.
The new range of Lexus IS will be revealed at 2010 Paris Motor Show, where the new IS 200d premieres as well.
This new version is powered by a 148bhp and 340 Nm version of the 2.2-litre diesel engine equipped with diesel particulate filter (DPF). That means it has CO2 emissions of just 134g/km with average fuel consumption of 55.4 MPG. These are astonishing figures for a sporty sedan as IS.
The other IS models including IS250, IS 250C and IS F-Sport are upgraded as well, while there’s also a new SE-I trim level which features rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming electrochromic rear view mirror and a new leather upholstery with heated front seats.
The V6 petrol engine of the IS 250 and IS 250C coupe-convertible is also revised for better fuel efficiency. All engines in the range in fact cover Euro5 standards.
