2011 Honda Accord Gets Mild Update
Honda released details of the 2011MY Accord and although they say it’s new, you’ll be struggling to notice the new stuff on it, because there are just a few!
The body for both sedan and coupe models has been slightly revised thanks to the new front grille and bumper, as well as a new trunk lid and newly designed wheels.
The choice of engines also remains the same as before, but they’re all optimized for fuel economy now and deliver better mileage. The interior too has received some new equipments.
The range of engines for the 2011 Honda Accord includes a 2.4-liter, 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine with either 177 hp or 190 hp, and a high performance 3.5-liter, 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC V-6 engine developing 271 hp. Fuel economy for the 4-cylinder models is rated at 23/34 mpg city/highway, and the V6 variants can manage 19/30 city/highway.
And as for the transmissions, you may go for the standard 5-speed manual or automatic, or a 6-speed automatic. The new model also comes with a new steering wheel with paddle shifters for 6-speed auto model, and improved climate control and audio systems.
