Dodge released details of the refreshed 2011 Avenger before the car’s premiere at Los Angeles Autoshow.

The new model comes with tweaked design featuring new signature Dodge Brand “split crosshair” grille, and an aggressive lower fascia. But the real work has been done on its interior and chassis.

Dodge cannot stress enough how deep they’ve tuned the suspension of the new avenger to make it more fun! The suspension and the geometry were completely rethought. The track is an inch wider, tire width increased from 215 to 225 millimeters and the vehicle is 12 millimeters lower in the front and 6 millimeters in the rear for a more aggressive stance.

The car can be had with two engine, one the 2.4-liter World Gas Engine and the other Pentastar V-6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission delivering 283 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque.

The much upgraded interior of the Avenger features new instrument panel, bezels, gauge faces and new Dodge steering wheel, as well as new two-tone interior color schemes, new leather and cloth seating materials and accent stitching.
