The new 2010 Cadillac Escalade has incorporated the GMs technology of Active Fuel Management system to disable its cylinders. It has a 6.2 liter fuel capacity with V8 engine. Other than that this finest SUV has been the same in its design and performance. Escalade gives you the joy of high acceleration with convenient room for the passenger’s seating. But it is not good enough when it comes to fuel consumption and has some comfort issues at rear-seat in the third row.

Generally speaking the Escalade is an upgraded edition of GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe vehicles. It is offered as an ESV with long wheel base or as a standard spruce. Escalade EXT model is much like a Chevrolet Avalanche that is essentially a passenger-hauler truck. It comprises of a middle-gate that bifurcates the carrier bed and the hauler itself. These vans are 7-seater with an arrangement of 2-2-3 seats in each row or they are 8-seater with an option to adjust 3 passengers in the second row.

2010 Cadillac Escalade in its super Platinum version has a precise spruce and a General Motors suspension of Magnetic Ride Control. This suspension comes up as a standard in hybrid (gas/electric) cars and as an elective in other Escalade models. These wagons are offered in both AWD and rear-wheel drive, where as EXT editions are just AWD. The other non-hybrid versions have a 6.2 liter capacity with V8 engine generating 403 horsepower and an automatic transmission of 6-speed. The engine uses both type of fuels; E85 regular ethanol and gas. It has an utmost hauling power of 8,300 pounds.

The hybrid version of 2010 Cadillac Escalade is standard-sized coupe available in both rear-wheel drive and AWD. It has a 6 liter capacity for gas with a V8 engine generating 332 of horsepower driven by an electric motor. This car has a hauling power of 5,800 pounds. This hybrid technology helps the car to race on both of gas and electric sources in order to stabilize the fuel consumption and the velocity of the car, it doesn’t require plug-in to get powered up.

This version has a CVT- continuously variable transmission that acts similar to the automatic. The safety features common in all models of Escalade are: antiskid system, traction control, ABS, curtain-side and front-side airbags, navigation system, a slanted steering feature and power adaptable pedals. It is coupled with entertainment system and blind-spot vigilant system.

The vehicles are ranked in 18 categories by Consumer Guide Automotive based on their market grade, cost and size. The extravagant large-sized cars are an upgraded version of the usual medium-sized cars available in the market. All such lavished cars are sturdy, expensive and highly fuel consumable.
The top ranked car in the market is Mercedes-Benz GL-Series. Other recommended cars are the Cadillac Escalade and Audi Q7. The newest or the extensively reshaped models include Mercedes-Benz GL-Series, Land Rover Range Rover and Audi Q7.
